What's Happening?

So much has happened in the past week.  I'm getting back to my London 2013 quilt project.
I only got 2 blocks sewn in the past week. London town house #1
London town house #2
Mason got his mission call.
He is going to the Uruguay Montevideo West mission and he leaves for the Argentina MTC on Jan 2, 2014.  It seems far away but he's got lots to prepare for.  It takes some time to get visas.  So he will use the time to spend on Rosetta Stone Spanish.
I have a box of pears sitting on my counter.  They are going from green to yellow.  I should be on this.  Seriously.
Lizzie had a hospital stay.  She's had complications from flu.  She is still quite sick but she's home now.  Sweet Lizzie. This is the most important way to spend my time.

So much happening. But what did I expect when I had 8 children?  I'm not sure....

Oh bless sweet little Lizzie...prayers that she will heal quickly. She is so adorable...even though she is sick, she is still smiling. Bless her heart.

Yay! On Mason finding out where his mission will be. Sending prayers his way as well, that The Lord will keep him and bless him as he goes out into the world to spread the His word. I love that big smile on Mason's face, so full of joy.

Love, love, love your London 2013 quilt. The townhouses are so pretty. I love all your quilts, but the London one's are extra special.

Sending out prayers and hugs to you today dear friend.

Sweet Lizzy is right! What a cutie and she is getting so big! If you gave her a hug from all of YOUR fans, you'd squish her to death, so just give her a hug from some of us! I am loving the look of your London blocks...and I'm wishing you luck on getting it done because I selfishly want the pattern!! Congrats to Mason - what a handsome boy - I have a friend who served there and he loved it! Busy! Busy! xo, Nan

So grateful your sweet little Lizzy is better. And so happy for your 2nd missionary!!! My youngest and 9th child just left for the neighboring country of Paraguay!!! She too was to go to Argintina's MTC. But 10 days before ,they contacted us and she went to the Mexico City MTC one day earlier!!! She is doing so well and though its been the most difficult one to let go, being my baby and a young girl, she will do amazing things as will your son.

I have really enjoyed watching the progress of your London quilt? Are you designing each block as you go along or is there a pattern? I am sooooo interested. A friend and I took a trip to London this year and would love to make a quilt like yours. Thanks.
