Fabric Friday and surprise - no red!

Sew Mama Sew occasionally has designer packs with fabric picked from their cast of Board Members (speaking of board members Jacquie recently was added to their board, congrats Jacquie). Their latest designer pack features Rashida Coleman-Hale of I Heart Linen. Rashida's blog was one of the first few I started to read 4 plus years ago. And her book "I Love Patchwork" is fabulous.
These fabrics are a mix of patterns and designs from several manufacturers and lines but mixed together and picked out by Rashida. I appreciate mixing and matching fabrics from different lines. I think it adds more depth to a project.
Look Ma. No Red! I love all these fabrics and it is a stretch for me to have red instead of blue with yellow and green but I think the prints are so special that I'm happy for the change.
This blue in the middle is stunning. And I think the 3 are really beautiful next to each other.
I already had a fat quarter of the floral on the right but I used most of it already. So I was happy it was included in this mix.
The deep yellow on the right is voile. I am excited to see voile come back on the fabric scene. Some of my favorite dresses from Jr. High were made of voile.
One thing I love about all these fabrics is the mix of scale. That is really important to me. I usually try to include both large and small prints in my quilts.

I am dreaming of making something with these fabrics. They are rich and lovely. I heart fabric.

The blue one in the middle really looks like you. And yes, I'm impressed you chose something without a red tucked in there. Beautiful line.

They are beautiful. It is a real challenge NOT to buy more of the beautiful fabrics I see every day. Some days I win, some days I give in. What can I say?

These are beautiful fabrics, Nanette! Several years ago one of my friends made a blue and yellow quilt and it was so pretty. I see a really lovely quilt in this and can't wait to see the design you use for all this pretty fabric!

Love all of the fabrics and I realize how hard it is to step out of our norm and not throw in that red. I will love seeing what these beautiful fabrics become. I also heart fabric!

Love that pack Nanette! I'm like you -- I like to have a mix of scale -- along with a mix of shapes - florals, dots, stripes, checks, etc. Just adds lots more interest!

That is a great pack of fabric. The mixture of scales is so important in a quilt. Really adds dimension. You should be a fabric salesperson, whenever you show something I want it. LOL Seriously though, you have a knack for it!

Love your fabric combination and I'm with you on joining fabrics from different lines.
On your post below, I turned my scissor print wrong, but didn't redo it. I think we are the only ones that notice those little mistakes. LOL

What...no RED! How???

Doesn't matter because I love these. I also love mixing different fabric lines. It gives quilts a little bit of depth.

Enjoy your weekend Nanette.

The fabrics from this pack are so pretty and very warm. The scale of the prints compliments each other so well!

I know you will use them in some special way. We have a quilt shop in our town, just a year old, that specializes in all those bright fabrics.

I realize I'm late to this post, but I've been searching for the fabric that is on the top of the fanned-out pile in your first photo (it's also the center fabric in the second row of the frame at the top). Is there any chance you know the name/designer and where I could find it, if it's still available? Thanks!
