Heading South

Thank you everyone for your kind and thoughtful comments. I have the sweetest friends. I won't answer you each individually but know your get well wishes mean so much to me. I'm starting to feel better. I went from having influenza to bronchitis and totally lost my voice for a bit. I am starting to have good days with the bad. I've cut my schedule to the bone to try to get better and I haven't picked up a needle and thread for nearly 3 weeks now. I have litterally done nothing and have not even read a book or looked at a blog.

I'm heading south to St. George to stay with family and try to finish getting better. I hope to be back strong in a couple weeks. I'm sure I'll be back to sewing in no time. Thanks for being my readers and friends.

That warm sunshine is going to make you feel a lot better. We are heading back on Thursday. Any chance you will still be there?

Oh, Nanette, I'm sorry you've been having such a bad time. We just push our bodies too hard sometimes, and then those bodies will eventually say - ENOUGH! Rest and get well and you'll come back so full of life and energy and ideas. Love and hugs, Elaine

Just resting and recuperating sounds good. But losing your voice, that's hard, how would I constantly talk? Get better soon.

So glad you are starting to feel better, I have been worried. You seem to have what I had at Christmas, slow recovery but it does end. Feel better!!

Hope you get a good dose of family love and get back on the road to recovery real soon!!!

So glad that you are on the mend. I have had a really bad cold but think I might live. St. George, I remember being there many moons ago when it was not more than a spot in the road. The last time I was there I was amazed at how it had grown. The scenery in the area is so beautiful. Looking forward to seeing your projects.

I am sorry to hear that you have been that sick my friend. I have not looked at a blog in weeks so I knew nothing of you having this bad flu. I am going to have to get after Lori for not telling me!
I have a cute little something that I promised to give you so let me know when you get back. In the meantime... enjoy your stay in St. George with your sweet family.
Hugs better!

What a great place to recover! Wish I were there right now, but hopefully we'll be there in April. So sorry to hear you've been down! Bless your heart. We just don't have time to be sick, do we? Please take care of yourself and just rest and enjoy your time away...

I'm so glad you've turned the corner! I just hopped on here to see if you were doing better and to see if you had time this week to meet me for a cupcake! But I see you're in St. George - good for you - at least you'll have warm weather and sun! Looks like a stinker week weather wise around here! Maybe next time!!! xo, Nan

Oh Nanette - I'm so sorry to hear you've been so sick. Bronchitis just wears you out doesn't it - walking and talking at the same time? Nah! Too much. You soak up that sun and feel your body with strength and warmth won't you.
