Spring Market 2011 Day One Part II - PamKittyMorning, Lori Holt and Riley Blake

More market. I have 300 photos people, so be prepared. I have days of posting still. I love these gals below. Take a look at some fantastic lines of fabric out now and coming out soon for fabric Friday.
Basically I walked onto the market floor the first day and walked straight to see Pam and Elizabeth at the Pam Kitty Morning LakeHouse Fabric booth. Isn't that what you would do too if you were at market??? Of course!
Love Pam's upcoming fabric line, of course. I just wanted to drink it in.
The design book is full of quilt ideas that will be in future patterns and magazines. Those kitties are so darling.
The attention to detail was not lost on me. I could see the hours of preparation that went into planning and making the booth. Can you believe I was so excited to see Pam and all her cute stuff I didn't get a pic of us together?
Elizabeth made this canister with the Kitty in Red on it. Genius. Pam said there were over 150 strawberries made for the display.
Can't you see me just running around? I did go a bit nuts. But of course you knew I would.
My BFF Lori's fabric design and quilts were part of the Riley Blake booth area. Fabric and design perfection by Lori. She has been working non-stop on her patterns and quilt designs as well as the pillow and aprons shown above. I did help her make 3 aprons. I was really proud she asked for my help.
This darling bag with Lori's fabric was made with a new pattern by Melissa of Lilac Lane. Isn't it really cute! Melissa is a great girl, too.
Lori is a master designer and our style and taste is very similar, I'm proud to say. This is kitcheny fabric done right. I love it. I want every single quilt.
Riley Blake Fabric's booth was amazing and filled with so many projects. I love how Cindy and Jina set everything around the display area and the fabric lines all are going to be so so popular.
This is Shari's line called Hoo's in the Forest". I made a baby quilt for market with this fabric. You can see it in the photo next to the little dress on the right. It was really fun to sew with. Better pictures later when I get the quilt back...I was in such a hurry to give it to Jina that I didn't even take a photo for myself.
More Hoo's in the Forrest - super cute.
More Riley Blake fabric. Everywhere you looked there was cuteness. I think Allison needs new clothes with some of this fabric.
Love this fabric line, too. Aren't those dresses and quilts so cute.
Riley Blake for that pirate inside you. Whimsical and unique.
Amanda of Quilted Fish organized this doll quilt (there were 2) made with different Riley Blake lines of fabric. Lori's block is 2nd row far left. Absolutely fantastic.
This is Amanda's new line of fabric called Sugar and Spice. Don't you love the color and patterns?
Amanda had her own individual booth as well based on Mad Hatter. Sew Cute! She wore the cutest hat all of market.

I felt I was living every fabric lover's dream walking around in spring market land. Sigh.

I love seeing your pictures of Market! Thanks so much for showing your experience. I talked to Lori when she was at Rae Ann's right after the retreat. I'm so happy for her that 2 weeks after debut Sew Cherry is sold out and been sent for 2nd printing! Yay!!

Looks so very fun--thanks for sharing your photos since some of us weren't there.

We had Helen? Burton from your Alpine quilt group come talk to our quilt group Wednesday night. She did a great class on color. Very inspiring and well-presented. The quilting world is small. I asked if she knew you, and of course, she did !

Have a great weekend.

Thanks so much for your market posts, I appreciate your sharing with us and especially your photos. Fun to take a peek inside the quilt market with you. All the cuteness and terrific fabrics and patterns, if I ever went I'd probably have a breakdown from fabric sensory overload.

Getting a chance to get out and about and see all the wonderful photos since I didn't make it out of my booth for very long. Someone told me that you worked up a couple of our patterns in some Riley Blake fabrics? How fun! Hope we get to see more pics of them.
