Jelly Roll Flimsy

I finished something. Sometimes it feels like a long time in between finishes. So it really feels good to get a UFO sewn together and off to be quilted. I have been working with other designers and Konda at Moose on the Porch Quilts to create a fun project from a jelly roll.
I added some extras into my jelly roll and I didn't make block #12. I had 12 blocks without making the last one since I made 2 of the block I designed.
It turned out pretty scrappy and some fussy cutting thrown in.
I put the squares together with 2 1/2" sashing and strawberry posts. I used several different strawberry fabrics in the quilt so finishing it off with more strawberries seemed to work.
I have 3 big quilt projects due for Quilt Market by the end of the month. So I figured if I didn't finish this jelly roll quilt this week, it was in danger of being left undone for a who knows how long. I really like it. Now to get it quilted. I am going to have strawberries quilted into it. Of course.

Your Jelly Roll Sampler turned out so sweet! Feels great to finish, doesn't it? I finished my flimsy this week, too! Now to get some backing for it pieced. . .

Perfect finish for this summer. Absolutely love the strawberry theme. The posts are really cute and the colors are very cheerful. It's going to be awesome with more strawberries for the quilting :)

I had the best of intentions to join that quilt along, and never got to it. Love the fabrics you chose and how beautifully it turned out.
It's always so fun to have a finish.

It's a strawberry jelly roll! Terrific! I am looking for the perfect sashing fabric for mine. But I'd better hurry so it doesn't end up as a ufo.

Are you entering any quilts into the state fair? I always enter the things I have sewn for my girls through out the year. I will be going up there on Saturday to drop off me loot. I was just wondering if you would be doing the same.

Your quilt is beautiful. I've been collecting the patterns and have good intentions but haven't started it yet. Your fabrics are beautiful and I like the way you are finishing it with the white sashing and the corner stones. Great job.

The quilt looks awesome! It has that "Nanette" look for sure. I LOVE the happy look of all of your quilts. They are new and interesting, but nostalgic and cozy too. And your sewing room looks great, I need your organizing girls to stop by! x
