Alpine Quilt Group July 2009

I thought I would split the Tuesday night quilt group into 2 posts. This post is about the show-n-tell. Part II will be Monday. I'm going to spread out the fun.
These quilts are from members of our wonderful group. I am way to busy taking pictures to write down names and creators of quilts during the meeting. So just enjoy with no commentary.
Except I will say this quilt from Flora speaks to me. Love it.

And I really enjoyed this quilt so much. Look at the quilting! It is inventive and perfect for this beautiful and simple quilt.

It was a really fun night with the gym full of quilters and wonderful quilts. I am so happy to belong to a group of fun and talented ladies.

I love that circle quilt, great colors and the quilting makes it so interesting, that is what I loved first about quilts. The optical elusion that is created by some quilts. You are so lucky to have all of those talented ladies.

Hi, Nanette!! I wonder if the fabric in your sister's quilt is Michael Miller party dot polka dot which can be found at JeanniesFabrics shop on Etsy. Love the quilt show!!! I think I'm getting fabric envy!!!!

You know how I love seeing those Alpine Quilt group pictures. Thank you! I talked to Judi on the phone this morning and she's been sick in bed for the last week. I know she was sad to miss the Tuesday night meeting. Having the pictures helps to feel like we both were there.

Hi Nanette, I had to catch up on your blog again. Summers are just too busy. This quilt group is the most talented bunch of ladies and I see they get a lot of color from you. Love how you put colors together. Your dishtowels below turned out great and I love that little bag.

You have the most amazing ladies in your group and your virtual quilt shows never disappoint! In fact I'm tempted to actually go back and find all the ones I've missed the last few months and that's saying something!! Thanks Nanette :)

Hi Nanette! I love seeing your group.. would love to get there again sometime in the future. You are a talented and super teacher don't ever let not being invited to teach discourage you sometimes you have to just let people in charge know how interested you are in teaching. Hope you get my point and remember keep your chin up..you're in the same boat as alot of us!

I want to join your quilt group and see those quilts in person every month! It looks like a great show! I just returned from Utah - wanted so much to give you a call but my family kept me prisoner...maybe next trip I can escape long enough to say hi! Love the glimpse of your latest projects - can't wait to see the big picture! xo, The Other Nanette
