Alpine Days Quilt Show 2011

Before I left for vacation, my little city had it's yearly celebration including a quilt show. There were dozens and dozens of lovely quilts. I wish you could see them all but below is a little sampling.

Aren't the quilts fantastic. I'm so lucky to be associated with great quilters.

Those are gorgeous, Nanette! What a great variety and each quilt a work of art! I was especially touched by the framed antique tumbler quilt made in 2002.

Such a fun little show. Great quilts!
Does your show do any education or fun ideas? We have a show at our library every January and we're always looking for new ideas.

What a wonderful display of quilts! So many to chose a favorite, but of all the intricate and fussy works - the simple apple quilt just jumped at me (probably the pinwheels).

I recently moved and just joined the local quilt guild. I can honestly say that you and your blog played a small part in that decision. Thanks.
