Ashley's baby is only a week older than Allison so both little girls will be 1 this month. So Ashley has been making birthday gifts for her sweet daughter. This is the pillow case she made above.
Ashley made an outfit for her daughter's first birthday photo. I absolutely love it. I can't wait to see the pictures.
She also made a "postcards" quilt with fabric left over from her son's Hawaiian quilt and Hawaiian shirts plus other fabric from past projects. It is so great to turn scraps into something so beautiful.
Ashley had Wendy quilt hibiscus into the quilt to complete the Postcards from Hawaii vision. Great job Ashley!

I like the postcards quilt I made one something like that last year - I love the scrappy look with white - so crisp!

Isn't it fun to see others blossom in their craft and become quite good!!!
Pretty stuff. I saw a lady in Joann the other buying the tulle to make a little tutu for her daughter. She saw a U Tube video and thought it looked easy.
