As we were walking through the quilts Laurie said to me "Mom, look those are your quilts!" Well not mine, but my patterns. It was really exciting to see my ideas and patterns worked up by a good quilter and put in the show. It was so fun! The quilter credited me on in her write-up about her entries.
There really were a lot of very nice quilts. And this is just sampling.
I was really glad she took a picture of this quilt. It really was my favorite, of course. Its kind of like my Parchessi quilt.
Feedsacks and vintage fabric. So so cute.

What fun to see your own patterns on display. The whole show looks like a fabulous time.
Wow -- thank you for sharing these! That last quilt is incredible. I absolutely love it -- and that will have me scurrying to the quilt books to see if I can find the pattern! That would be fun to put together.
I thought the quilts were yours too. The lady who did them did a great job! How are you? I've been a little absent in my blogging and reading lately. I've been really busy - but it's fun to catch up with you! :) Have a great weekend!

Hi Nanette, you lucky dog, getting to go to all those quilt shows. Are you coming to Nashville for the AQS show in August at Opryland Hotel? We could have a great time!
luv, Nerm
I'm going tomorrow and I can't wait. I didn't know you could bring a camera so thanks for the reminder. Last year there was one I loved and I came home and made on on EQ5 that was similar so I'd remember it. Still haven't done it though! I love that last quilt. Can't wait to see it in person!
The last photo is also my favorite. It's beautiful. I wonder if I can but together fabrics like that to make a "similar" quilt.
Hi Nanette! Carmen finally got high speed internet so I will be a little more present online now :) So you got to our show I see! Did you see my quilt?! The red and blue one? I didn't get it finished in time to be judged - doing binding at 4am wasn't as productive as I had hoped, so it is for exhibition only lol! I will have a good look around tomorrow and take some pics for my blog. I did see the quilts made from your patterns on the hanging day and said hey those are Nanette's patterns!!! Isn't this a small world when you're a quilter? :)
I wonder why that one only got a purple ribbon for "participant". I would have given it a blue on for sure!
I love it when you show pics from quilt shows.. your favorites are always my favorites too. :-D
Wow, so many beauties! And, to see some of yours - bet that put a smile on your heart. :-)
That last one is my favorite! I've vowed that I will make one...some day. I just love it, don't you? Very neat to see "your quilts" in the show!
Thanks for sharing. Oh what a good feeling to see your very own patterns!
I just look at these quilts and wonder....how do people make these??? They are so beautiful!
This post was a lot of fun. Thanks Nanette!
My favorite was the monster quilt.
I want to come live with you! You get to do so many fun quilty things! :-) Thanks for sharing---
Ohhhh, thanks for sharing the pictures! I just LOVE to see what others are achieving. It must feel pretty good to see your own designs done by others. I went to a quilt show today! I will blog about it and post pictures later on tonight. Dh needs to take the pictures off of the camera for me. :D
I love, love the last quilt. Is there a picture of your parchessi quilt on your blog?? I'd love to see it. Are you familiar with that pattern at all?? Oh, I love it! And I love your quilt shows! Thanks!
These are all stunning patterns and quilts. Love all the great colors and fabric combinations.
I love to see quilts like this but I don't get to go to as many show as I would like.
Great photos!
I am with you on the 30's parcheesi quilt. I cant believe that is all applique'. it is stunning. I also like the green and red Christmas star quilt. The unique mix of colors bring a welcome change to a season if standard colors and patterns. Hope all is well, Talk soon. Love Stacy
I love that last quilt too. I wonder what pattern it is? The fabrics are so great too!
You patterns are wonderful, and what fun for you to discover them, while visiting the show :>)
That last "Joseph's Coat" quilt is my favourite, as well. Sooo beautiful, I tried to make it some time ago, but abandonned : too many curves for me ! Maybe I'll try again, "cheating" a bit, by fusing all petals, HeeHee...... (or is there another way ???).
Have a wonderful Sunday !
XOXOXOXOXOXO
NADINE
(did you get my last email?)
i know this will sound funny, as we have never actually seen each other, but I feel like I haven't seen you guys in a while!!!
I hope you are doing great
Love,
Lizzy
I just stumbled upon your blog via brown dirt cottage.I love your blog and have added you to my blog list.
What beautiful pictures! Seeing so many pretty quilts always inspires me to do more!!
How COOOOOOOOOOOOOL to see your patterns not only in a show... but with ribbons too!
Another great show and tell Nanette. Thank you for doing that! The bottom pic is my fave, and I can't get over what great condition those feedsacks are in.
Just looked at the big photo of "your" quilts. Darn... those are "participant" ribbons! They SHOULD be WINNING ribbons!
I'm really liking the red and green with stars. Too cute!
Great pics Nanette -- thanks for sharing them. You're so lucky to live where there is so much quilt inspiration!
Hi! Is the quilt that you said was your favorite, the one like your parchisi quilt, applique? Or is it pieced? I can't tell from the picture but I love it! Thanks for the virtual quilt show - it was great! Nanette
I love the star quilt and that parchesi one. Pretty exciting to see your patterns huh?
thank you for sharing. you were so lucky to see them in person!
Hi Nanette and thanks for the plug for our show...
The reason the last quilt didn't get a placement ribbon is that the quilter requested exhibit only!
We had a few like that.
Also in our show if a quilter wins more than one ribbon in a catagory they don't get both places...being a community bases show not a professional show we like to spread the awards around.
Bye the way love all of your patterns but am looking forward to the "scottie" pattern one day LOL
Oh Nanette - how lovely to have your designs represented at the quilt show! I feel honoured knowing such a talent! :-)
What wonderful inspiration, and how exciting to see your patterns created by someone else!
Oh that last quilt there really lights me up!
Daisy Petals Love, *karendianne.
