Fabric Friday - House and Home

I don't remember if I showed this little group of fabrics before on the blog but since I'm working with them they are close at hand.
This is a line by Benartex that has been out for a little while. It is called House and Home. It also comes in pastels, which I didn't care for. Anyway, it is a happy line that I really need to put to good use.
I'm proofing my pattern by making new blocks for my Row by Row quilt. and it seems to be working out so far.
I really do like this border type print in the line and I'm going to use this to frame my blocks. I think it gives a Spring feeling and I'm excited to use it since Spring really is just around the corner. The sun is out today shining in my window but in Utah it feels like we haven't had Winter yet so maybe Spring will be late. When it comes I'll be ready for it.

Oh this is cute fabric! And bless you, you put that house print in a heavily pieced block and the are all 'standing upright'. I love anything with birds and that is surely a spring quilt fabric - yes spring is around the corner, Jan. almost over and Feb. is a short month.

Love this line of fabric, your blocks look great. It has been in the 70's here, I don't know what has happened to Mr. Winter.

Oooh! I love that line of fabric! It doesn't really matter to me how long a fabric has been "out" since its debut. If I love it, that's all that matters.

Love the fabrics Nanette! I would choose these bright colors over pastels any day of the week..I'm not much of a soft pastel person either.

This newer version of row by row quilt has a completely fresh and different look to your previous version, Nanette. You come up with wonderful combinations each time. This newest of fabrics is no different. They are very fun and pretty :)

Oh! I like this one fabric! In fact is not important, I how long a fabric has been "out" since listing. If I like it, this is important.
