My Sneak Peek so far . . .

There has been some awesome sneak peeks out there for the tea swap that Stephanie is hosting. I've been very curious about the goings on and can't wait for the reveals. But I guess it is my turn to give a little peek.
I like the shape of a teapot all curvy and cute.
Michele is a machine embroidery artist. I really love seeing what she comes up with. This came from Michele's machine.
But I can't show you all of it. I think you have a pretty good idea (I lifted an idea from another swapper - shhh don't tell.) And Michele sent this sweet strawberry. And that is for me! Thanks Michele. Michele just featured Mennonite Girls can Cook on her blog. This is off topic here but someday when we all sit down for hot chocolate (or whatever) together I'll tell you about one of the best lunches I ever had while visiting Lancaster County Pennsylvania. I know from personal experience, those girls SO know how to cook! I'll have to post about my PA Dutch cookbooks sometime. More teapot shapes. May or may not be included in the swap. You never know.

"Pretty maids all in a row" is what I think when I see my rick rack colors all lined up on my shelf in front of folded fabric. Am I using rick rack in my tea swap creation? - I'll never tell. At least not today.

Yay! The package arrived at your place! I'm always desperate to hear from the "customer" about whether or not she liked the item (I've got to get over that!), but it's SO MUCH BETTER to be blogged about. Thanks!

I like the embroidery/fabric/applique combination so much better now days after putting it together. You know, when you work so close to something, it never seems right until time passes or it's out of your hands. I can't wait to see the final product you put together with the fabrics. -- Michele

That's some serious rick rack stash!!! Is it all vintage? Lovely embroideries by Michele. Could the strawberry one end up as a pot-holder? Have fun with the tea party!!

Love all the sneak peeks! I can't wait to see them! Boy oh boy, do you ever have some rick rack! Love it!

All your tea items are cute, but your collection of rick rack is really impressive. Most people I know buy it in the small packages in the fabric shop.

What delicious peeks!!! And the pretty maids... oh goodness that some ric-rac love you got goin' there!!!

After reading the comment you left me, I had to dial 91 myself! STOP that, or I'll have to dial the other 1 as well! Blush!

PS... the yellow is a basic Moda. I've had it in my stash for a couple of years. It sings to me too! And I love it even more now that I know you love it too!

yet again your fabrics leave me sighing with delight! But that rickrack - you're a right little Martha Stewart Nanette! That's one of my dreams - to have a sewing workshop set up with a long rack of ribbons and rickracks and braids all just waiting for me to take my fancy! :-) Looking forward to seeing more teapots.

ooo.. you are such a tease. FUN thinking about what you are doing with the tea pots. :-)

I'll have to pay attention to when you do the cooking thing.. I could show my Mennonite Cookbook that I've been using since I could measure flour into a cup.

That cocoa colored ric rac in the center reminds me of when you were looking for just the right shade for your birdie quilt. :-)

I bet you are busy getting ready for your big week!

Nanette! I love the sneak peeks. I also can't wait to see what everyone makes. This is so fun. And about your ricrac... I have this little problem when I see something I LOVE, my eyeballs pop out of my head and roll around on the floor. I'm going to catch my eyeballs now. x
