A few years ago Michelle and one of her sister-in-laws embroidered these blocks.
And they need to be completed, they are so cute! I have a few ideas of things I can do to make a little quilt out of the blocks. It will be fun and easy with reproduction fabrics and a vintage feel.
Michelle also had a quilt she had started to make but with no outer border. I told her I'd finish it up for her and take it to the machine quilter when it was done. The blocks are from a panel that she cut apart.
We both felt it would be best to border the quilt in the black with the bubble dots. She ran out of the black dot fabric and I don't know what the fabric is called or where to start looking for more.
Come on you fabric hounds. What is this black bubble dot fabric called? Anyone? I'm going to look around a bit but if anyone knows off hand I'd appreciate the info and I am sure I can pick some up online.
Thanks.

Very cute blocks and fabric. Can't help you with the black fabric.
I don't have any but I'm thinking I need some of that darling fabric too! Let me know if you find any and if there's enough I'd like a yard please. *smiles*
Love the darling quilt too!
I agree with all of the above - darling blocks.
I remember them when I was a child- a long, long time ago!

I bought just a fat quarter of that a couple of years ago at a local quilt shop and loved it. Follow this link - equilter they seem to have it.

The little embroidered blocks are so beautifully sweet!! What a truly special quilt they will make.
How nice of you to help your sisters, Nanette! Both quilts are adorable!
Cheers!
The embroidered blocks are really, really cute! What a nice sister you are to finish her quilt!!! ... and not just one quilt but two quilts!!! I don't recognise the black bubble dot fabric but if you can't find it, the quilt would look nice with a plain binding of the turgoise blue color as it's in almost every fabric and/or block.
I adore those embroidered blocks! They are precious :) Love the little panel blocks too; and I sooooooo wish I could help you w/that fabric!!! I shall be on the look out during some of my on-line searches :)

The embroidered blocks are so sweet as well as the quilt. Can't help you on the fabric, but it sure is cute.
I hope someone can help you with those. I don't have a clue.
