Fabric Friday - Button, Button, I like Buttons

Buttons! We all love them, don't we? Buttons and fabric just go together. So if you combine the two, you get button fabric.
This is a favorite piece of fabric and I've been hoarding it for a while now. I have some ideas for ways to use it but I won't let myself until I finish some of my poor UFOs. This fabric really is a fussy cutter's dream. There is so much cuteness to look at.
This is another sweet button fabric with vintage cards. And it has snap cards, too. So cute.
This one is a French themed button fabric. I don't speak French so I'm not sure what it says. But who cares. I like it.
I have it in this colorway, too. I know you can't see the exact green from the photo but this is one of my very favorite shades of green. It is really beautiful.
This is another French fabric with labels. But it also has button card/labels. I also just love writing on fabric. All these fabrics give the eye so much to enjoy.

Soak up the last few days of summer. It was cold here yesterday!

Love the button card fabrics! I have a bunch of vintage button cards that I found in my grandma's and MILs sewing things. Someday I want to display them in my sewing room, along with lots of other sewing supplies.

We had a button jar that I played with when I was little, and then my kids used it to help them with math. Too bad counting buttons doesn't help them with calculus and algebra! Darling fabrics, so unique - I've never seen any like them.

Cool button fabric! I remember button cards looking like that when my grandmother sewed for us "little girls." Take care!

You have the best fabric. If I ever get to Utah, I think I'll elect to bypass the usual scenic tourist attractions and go see your stash instead!!! LOL

Nanette, I have NEVER collected buttons - and now when I walk into haberdashery I feel so sad abut that - never mind, too late now! Love your fabrics, too!

I had a red button collection when I was a little girl. I remember sorting them, and just loving the different shades and shapes.
