And so today is my day to post a Scrap Along Give-A-Way here at Freda's Hive.
I dug deep into my scrap bin and pulled out a big arm load of scraps of all sizes. Some scraps are strips, some are squares but all are pretty sweet. There are even a few vintage and some Japanese reproduction fabrics. I sorted, ironed and stacked....
adding piece after piece to each little pile....

Oh how I love "In the Leafy Treetop" quilt pattern. I imagine using your scraps to make colorful birds. I would love to win and make this for my mother who sings with the birds every day. We call her Bird Lady. :-)

I think scraps from another quilter is a wonderful gift-a bit of your creativity will come with the fabrics that you chose to work with. And such a generous number of scraps when many quilters are cutting back on their fabric spending is especially nice.

WOW, this must be a record for posts on your blog. You have such neat scraps in your stash. I think it's neat how you can look at a Japanese magazine and not need to be able to read it. I once found a Japanese pattern for a dashound, it turned out great without any words I could read. I also purchased a Japanese book on Sunbonnet Sue, really don't have to be able to read it.
