I really loved this little owl baby hat.
One of my favorite sellers had cute handmade books, pincushions and cool scrap booking/decoration/art stuff. I don't scrap book but there were such cute ideas here.
I loved the applique kitchen towels. It is great to see such good workmanship.
I saw only 1 seller that had a couple quilts. The quilts were marked down half price and were a great deal. I feel bad for handmade artists when I see things marked below their actual value.
We loved these 2 headed stuffed toys. I actually purchased the 2 headed cat. I couldn't resist.
I am always attracted to matryoshkas. There was a cute little matching game with wooden coins. I would have bought that if Allison had been older. It seemed like a good toy for "nanny's" house.
I liked looking through all the handmade cards. Sometimes I make my own cards. I know how much work goes into them and these were a great price.
Whitney purchased a little bee necklace for Allison from this seller. It is so tiny and cute.
These simple little girl dresses caught our eye. If I didn't sew, I would have bought this one for Allison.
I am always attracted to bee items. This seller had some darling things.
Last year I bought a bag from this fiber artist. Her bags are so well made and so interesting.
I love crowns. I thought this wedding cake topper kitschy one was especially cute. This table was full of fun things. She was the one that had the vintage Christmas decoration wreath for sale last year at the bazaar. I was sad that there wasn't one this year. I guess I need to make one myself.
We each came home with a few items from the bazaar. Some things are gifts and I can't show them. I bought vintage trim above, a soft bracelet set and handmade soap. The soap smells so incredible. Everything above is sitting on the new ironing board cover I bought. It was such a good price and made so well. I couldn't resist getting it for myself. I would much rather shop from handmade than shop at the mall!

I love the Beehive Bazaar! I took my girls on Saturday. :) So much great stuff and great inspiration. I totally should have bought one of those ironing board covers.
Well who couldn't resist a two-headed cat? Although that two- headed pig is cute, what with the little hats, pretty tempting too.
What a great haul of loot you brought home! Looks like a really fun place to shop.
I'm with you, I'd much rather shop (or make) handmade, it's just so much more personal and rewarding. I made aprons this year for the ladies in my family. :-) Thanks for the pics.
Love those vintage trims and the fabric in your ironing board cover is gorgeous!!! I need to make me a new ironing board cover. Mine is less than viewable. LOL!
Looks like you had a ball. I agree with you on feeling bad when 'artists' works aren't valued as they should be. If others only knew the hundreds of hours we put into our quilts!!
Looks like a great time was had. Love the owl hat. And the two headed stuffed animals are fun.
I've never been to that boutique, but I sure have heard fabulous things about it. What a great mother/ daughter activity.
Looks like a wonderful thing to do at this time of year. Thanks for sharing!
Sounds like you had an absolutely fantastic day! And very restrained in your purchases... love the ironing board cover...
Looks like fun! I agree about shopping from handmade vs. the mall.
Looks like you had a wonderful time Nanette! Love that ironing board cover. Among other things, it's dark and will hide the water stains -- brilliant!
I love going to homemade bazaars! There was just one in St. George last weekend...and I missed it. Looks like you had a wonderful time and found lots of good stuff!
The owl hat is so cute!! The holiday fair seemed to be filled with treasures every way you look. So glad you had a wonderful time at the fair and got to take some home too.
Looks like you and your girls had a good time. The crafts look well made. I especialy like the matryoshkashe dolls. Sounds like you enjoy shopping for Allison :)
OOOUUUU...AAAHHHH...OOOUUU...AAAHHH
What goodies!!! Darn it Nanette!!!
All you gals there in Utah have such fabulously wonderfully talented ladies!!!
Hi, I came across your blog today through Nettie (a quilt is nice). I was surprised to see that you are in Utah & visited the Bazaar.
I'm the gal with the quilt for sale. Just to clarify - I did have several quilts on my table & had only one marked down to half price. I've had it for a while & it was quick to make. You definitely don't need to feel bad for me - I made lots of money @ the Bazaar. :)
Your blog has lots of cute ideas, I may have to make some cute little house potholders!

Those dish towels are mine!
I loved the Beehive Bazaar too, I think I spent more money there than any other show I participated in :) I am glad you had fun!
