1 baby quilt made

I only completed 1 baby quilt this weekend but I still consider it a success.  Especially, considering it took me 4 hours to quilt just one.  But I do like how the quilt finished out.  I have the other baby quilt started, at least.
The half square triangle blocks ended up kind of chunky at over 3.5" each.  I stitched 8 blocks across  plus my border.  The quilt is about 40 X 40" finished.
I think the collection of fabrics/colors worked out pretty well together.  It helped that the border picked up some of the green/blue from the aqua blue blocks.
The pebble quilting seemed to go on and on and I counted use of 10 full bobbins.  I tend to over quilt with too many passes around the pebbles but I really do love how pebbles look.  One quilt down, one more to go.  Then back to London 2012.

I LOVE it Nanette! That's one of my favorite settings for hst's -- I'd like to have quilts in that pattern in tons of different color combos. And what a perfect quilt for a baby!

Nanette - Awesome and so simple except for the machine quilting. I've never done anything but meandering. I have taken the classes, but I've just been too chicken!

Hope the fires are out!

It turned out great Nanette! I didn't know you quilted some of your quilts. I thought you sent everything out to Wren. Nice job on the pebble quilting. I need to give that a try sometime.

Nanette, you have created another winner! It is gorgeous, love the border, love the fabrics, and really love the quilting. You are a better man than me to do all those pebbles, but they sure do look good!

Wonderful baby quilt! I've wanted to try pebbles and I like your big and freeform ones on this triangles quilt. Was the border pieced or already a print?

Adorable!!! I want to try pebbles one day, you've inspired me (as usual).

Dare I ask how you did the pebbles? You make such lovely things and this is spectacular! Do you have to be a really good sewing person to do it?

Love it! Love the borders. It is amazing how many bobbins you can go through when quilting a quilt.

Love it! This is definitely my palette. And I have always avoided pebble quilting for the very reasons you said.

However, it was all worth it on your quilt.
