Quilt Inspiration Blog has been featuring butterfly quilts. They included my butterfly quilt in their gallery of quilts. You can see the article here. Thanks Quilt Inspirations. I was really proud to be part of your butterfly coverage. Quilt Inspiration has lists of tutorials, patterns and great ideas.
I used the tutorial from Amy's blog here. Rita also has a new tutorial for butterflies. It makes me want to make another quilt.
My butterfly quilt is draped over a chair in my living room.
I really enjoyed using text fabric to enhance my butterflies.
I even used butterflies in a sampler quilt.
I like having this quilt out where I can look at it. Next time I'll try Rita's method.

I love this quilt! The layout and the butterflies themselves are very cute! Congratulations, Nanette!
Your butterfly quilt is beautiful, I remember when you posted about it. Didn't Lori make one at the same time on a retreat with you? I'm not sure if that's right. Anyway, that quilt is high on my "to do" list :)
Love your butterfly with the hounds tooth- great together. I really liked Rita's method, bookmarked for future use!

I love the Quilt Inspiration blog. I discovered it a few months ago, it really lives up to it's name. I love that your butterfly quilt was highlighted there.
What Rita's blog? I couldn't open it.
I made one of the butterfly quilts and just like you, I love having it out on a bed so I can see it when I pass by.
