Fabric Friday - Strawberry Jam

Last week I found Strawberries at a great price and in fabulous freshness. They were sweet and ripe and perfect for jam.
And that is just what I did - make strawberry freezer jam. I must say it is probably the best batch I've ever made. When Lori talked about her sweet little strawberries on her post yesterday I thought about my lovely jam and the fabulous strawberry fabrics that I have in my stash and decided to feature them for Fabric Friday today.
I must tell you I do have a lot of fabric with strawberries on it. And these are just a few of them. This strawberry fabric above is a thicker twill type weight that would be perfect for a bag.
I did show these last week to you but they are so beautiful and they fit the theme of the day so here they are again.
This is fabric I recently got in 3 colorways. I LOVE the blue and red the most. It also has cherries. My 2nd favorite fruit fabric.
I adore fabric with words and really like fabrics with patchwork, too. Isn't this pink and green sweet.
Here it is again. The words are flowers, pretty and strawberry. Very very sweet.
I have this oldie but goodie in 2 color ways. I really like strawberry blossoms, too.
It is amazing how many strawberry prints are out there. It is fun to have small scale strawberries and . . .
Large scale strawberries. Pretty sweet, especially when partnered with a little deer, blue bird, chick and flowers.
This tiny strawberry is one that I picked to put in my Jelly Roll-A-Long project.
I have this strawberry in 4 colorways. Just a bit of the orange, pink and blue but 2 whole yards of the white. I think it makes a fabulous neutral.
I found cherries are partnered with strawberries a lot of the time. And also partnered with dots. Fabulous fabric.

Does this make you hungry for strawberries? I'm glad they are good for us.

Lovely strawberry fabrics. I have you as my featured blog at the moment on my blog, although it did mean I had to lose Nancy which was very sad as she is also a big fave of mine. I know you say other people's applique is better but I like yours the best!

I'm breaking out in hives just looking at all those strawberries. Cute fabrics. Are you going to use them all in one place? My BFF also collects straw-fabrics and now doesn't now how to use them. Just thought maybe you had an idea.

What a wonderful strawberry fabric collection. Do you ever just hate to cut into some of your fabrics? I think I'm beginning to walk a fine line between quilter and fabric hoarder. With fabrics like this I would just sit around admiring it all day. The jam looks yummy!

Just last night my husband and I went out for pie. I chose Strawberry Hawaiian. Unusual but so good...strawberries, pineapple and pecans in a cream pie. Yum. Looking at your pretty fabrics make me want another slice! You have an amazing selection of strawberry fabrics. So fun!

I'll bet it's hard to part with even pieces of these fabrics! The patchwork ones are wonderful. Collections at my house seem to be dots, stripes, and small graphic prints, lots of green. And no pink!

Um, yes, I am now hungry for strawberries. And I bypassed them at the market this morning. I get all excited when the strawberries burst back into the store in the spring. Mmmmmm... What a fab array of strawberry fabrics you have too. WOW! A delightful collection!

oh these are lovely. In the back of my mind... I will be making a strawberry quilt for my little girl in a couple years, when I can bear to cut up some of her baby clothes (that have strawberries on them). We called her Strawberry before she was born--at one point one of the pregnancy websites said "the baby is about the size of a strawberry" and my son who was 4 really latched on to that idea. :)
Thanks so much for showing these!

These strawberry fabrics are just fabulous. But I have to say I think my favorite of all of them is the second fabric photo. They are just too adorable. Who knew there was so many fabrics with strawberries?
