Memorial Day 2010

I hope everyone is having a nice Memorial Weekend. It is only moderately warm in Utah but I'm sure the hot hot weather is headed our way.

My dad Paul Breton's photo from WWII. He was a gunner instructor. He passed away a few years ago on his birthday at age 89. I'm very proud of him.

The flag quilt is a beauty. Sorry you have lost your dad but it seems you had him a pretty long time. Have a good holiday!

I love your flag quilt. Wish you would show the whole quilt.
My dad was in the Navy WW II and he died 2 years ago on Memorial Day at age 92. My mother died 2 months before him and they had been married 75 years. I miss them both too.

*Ditto* lol!!! Love the flag quilt very beautiful!! If your father was alive i would like to pass my thanks on to him for his service. I also send my thanks to you and any one else who was in support of his career at any point. It takes an entire family for a service member to be successful! Thank you!

Memorial Day is definitely a day where we should remember people exactly like your father. But really we should be grateful everyday! I am sure he was a wonderful man.
