Butterflies. Haven't you seen them just everywhere? Every time I see them on a blog I want to make them. So today I stopped the presses and made 3. I had to do it. You'll see 2 different sizes above. I used the PKM directions for the one on the right with help from Amy's tutorial. Then the ones on the left I made somewhat in my own size. And yes, the are slightly wonky (there, I said it) but they are supposed to be. And they are fun to make. But I can't lose my focus so I only allowed myself to play for so long. I have no idea what I'll do with them.
Back to my list of things to do. This is the latest block for the Jelly Roll Sampler. I can't say it was my favorite. It looks simple but putting it together was dealing with weird seaming. However, it turned out ok. It is slightly off kilter, but it is done. So squint a little when you look at it.
Check. And I'm up to date with that project.

Looks like I need to take a trip around some of your favorite blogs and look for butterflies. Your butterflies are the first I've seen. I think I'll check out Nedra first as she gave a clue when she said "join us". I gave up on the Jelly Roll Sampler. I started one too many projects and am paring things down to see if I can get caught up.

The butterfly blocks are so cute! I am not starting any new projects for a while... but eventually, some butterflies would make a cute mini quilt!
These butterfly blocks are so sweet! I especially love the green. It is making the butterflies sparkle. The strawberry block is very pretty!
