Well most of them. These are my last 4 that I've completed. The one on the far left I cheated on. There were supposed to be paper pieced diagonal stripes in the light area on each corner. Well I decided I didn't want to do that so I used a striped fabric to faux the stripes in the block. It doesn't trick anyone but its my B-4 block and I'm sticking with it. The one on the far right I am proud to say I didn't have to paper piece and it turned out pretty darn good. Hey these are small blocks people! This is not beginning quilting 101.
And this one I'm very proud of. Its a clover that is appliqued and pieced together. And all my seams match perfectly. Tah Dah!
This is the gray I'm sashing the blocks with above. My intent when I started on this project and is still my goal - to complete as many blocks as possible and stretch my skills into an area I wouldn't normally delve into. I doubt very much I'll complete all the blocks but I'm ok with that. Being involved with the Dear Jane group is just like taking an online quilting class. I'm pretty proud of myself - nanette

Wow, that quilt is going to be amazing. Cheat shmeat... it looks awesome. I say cheat away!
Your last paragraph...I feel EXACTLY the same way! Like an online quilting class just stretching my skills a bit at a time.
Nanette your little blocks are awesome! I have yet to join in on this--but I love seeing all the blocks everyone is working on! Definitely not quilting 101 lol!!!!
The clover is just lovely - and you're right, it's beautifully pieced! There's no way I'm up to most of those Dear Jane blocks but the clover is so pretty I'm almost tempted to try :-)
This is so much fun seeing more blocks coming along, each one so different from the next. You are doing a wonderful job. Love how they looks with the gray.
There's no cheating in Dear Jane. I'm sure Jane was winging it as she went along.
The clover block is amazing! The whole quilt is going to be so exciting!
I'm so in awe of your Dear Jane! I wish I had the time to undertake this, so I'm living the DJ dream through you Nanette!
Lovely! Just so pretty, you are doing great work!
Your blocks look so great! I can't wait to see what you do next!
Ha, very creative with the baseball diamond one. I wish you had shared your little trick, but it's good I am learning all the different techniques I guess.
How are you handling the snow. My mom said it has snowed almost every day since Sunday when they had a blizzard in Manti. And I was feeling bad for myself!? We hit 60 this week! Like summer compared to your snow days. I've kept you in my mind. What have you decided on the birds? It is like a weekly tv show, I want to know what comes next? More birds? Red? Geometric? Soooo exciting...lol. Your blocks look great! Love Stacy
Your blocks look great! And what a cool color you've chosen for the sashing. That grey will be striking!
